Ages 8-12 | Meets once a week | 50 minutes | $20/week
In our friendly, project-based class, young artists create a new work each week from a wide range of subjects, guided step-by-step by a professional artist-mentor. Students will learn and practice the fundamentals of drawing, painting, color, light and design while having fun with other creative kids! Students will learn proven drawing and painting skills, learn to SEE like an artist, get individual feedback each week and build confidence, intuition, self esteem, satisfaction and happiness.
Drawing Studio Class: Draw Characters, Animals, Nature, Shading, 3D & More
Ages 8-12 | Meets once a week | 45 minutes | $20/week
Discover the fun, expressive art of drawing in our friendly, easy going studio classroom! Draw a new subject step-by-step each week using references, building art fundamentals & pencil technique. Learn to see like an artist, to interpret form & value in your drawings! Explore perspective, foreshortening, proportions, value and composition in this easy-going, supportive drawing class! Learn pencil techniques like shading, hash marks, smudging and mark-making while discovering what you love and developing their artistic voice!
Teen Intermediate Drawing Studio: Characters, People, Anatomy, Shading, Perspective
Ages 13-18 | Meets once a week | 50 minutes | $20/week
Teens build drawing skills by practicing characters, people, anatomy, poses, scenes, backgrounds, nature, shading, value, 3D, perspective, & composition in a supportive weekly studio. Step-by-step guidance + creative freedom.
